Justin Iverson is a federal historian at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. He is the author of Rebels in Arms: Black Resistance and the Fight for Freedom in the Anglo Atlantic (University of Georgia Press, 2022). He received his Ph.D. from Northern Illinois University in 2020.
