Biography
Kyle current serves as the Access & Opportunities Coordinator / Assistant Director of Curriculum & Instruction for the Orleans Central Supervisory Union in northern Vermont. Prior to this position, he taught middle level Humanities for 12 years. His co-taught, multi-age, interdisciplinary courses were heavily focused on helping students better understanding their roles as global citizens and addressing issues of social justice in the local, national, and global communities while simultaneously expanding students’ reading, writing, and communication skills. These topics were explored and skills were developed through project-based units of study that honored the unique needs of every student by using personalized instructional practices and learning tools.
